魔法咖啡壶 Coffee making magic
Lina Fischer设计的这个Kahva咖啡壶是由玻璃和金属制作的,外形酷似一个沙漏。他的整个咖啡制作过程堪称变魔法一般。首先,把内芯拔出添加适量的水到玻璃壶里面,然后将放好咖啡粉的内芯插进去。插上电,壶里的水逐渐沸腾。你会发现水面不断下降,直到大部分水已经“不翼而飞”了,然后耐心地等待一会,你又会发现水已经成了泡好的咖啡慢慢地又逐渐多起来。现在你可以把咖啡倒出来好好享受了。
想明白了吗?其实原理很简单,内芯的重量和他上面的密封条使沙漏下半部锥形管以外的的空气与外界完全隔绝,而有一小部分水面是通过锥形管连通着大气的。当水被加热至沸腾,产生的大量水蒸气使得封闭的空腔压力变大而使水位不断上升。被压上去的开水与咖啡粉相溶就变成了新鲜的咖啡。当温度逐渐降低,封闭空腔里的水蒸气逐渐变回水态使空腔里的压力逐渐恢复正常于是咖啡就又流回到了沙漏的下半部。
沙漏漏下来的“沙子”的数量恰恰能表达咖啡泡了多久的时间,同时你完全可以通过水面的高度来判断咖啡是否到了你习惯的温度。不得不说这是一个多么完美的设计!
