设计师试图通过这个水晶哑铃改变室内健身器材在人们心中的形象.健身器材工业拥有数十亿的庞大身家,每年投在其上的钱比电视游戏还要多.我们自己也花了不少钱在这些产品上面,但他们总是跟室内风格不搭调,于是经常被我们撂在一旁.我的目标是做出点什么又漂亮又有用的东西,而且能在家中摆设出来.于是这个哑铃诞生了,他是用高档水晶制造,漂亮程度不亚于你家中那些高档的室内装饰品,这样,一物两用,是不是勾起了你购买的欲望呢?

The Crystal Dumbbell is an attempt to rejuvenate the way we look at fitness products and there place in our homes. Fitness is a multi billion dollar industry where more money is being spent on home fitness products than on video games every year. We pay a lot of money for these products, but there aesthetics seldom fit our overall interior style at home and we tend to stow them away. My goal was to make something beautiful and functional that you would be proud having on display in your home. The aim is to have the Dumbbell produced by a high end glass producer that would raise its status to the same level as other high end home interior decorations, thus adding value and giving the customer more than one reason to buy a fitness product.
